Award Criteria

At BrightPath Education, we are committed to recognizing student achievement in a fair, transparent, and internationally benchmarked manner.

The Spirit of Math Contest follows a structured global evaluation system to ensure that every student is assessed fairly within their grade and country.

How Results Are Calculated

Each student’s performance is evaluated using the formula:

Percentage Score = (Correct Answers ÷ Total Questions) × 100

Students are ranked within their grade and country group, ensuring fair comparison across similar levels.

Handling of Ties

Students with the same score are treated equally.

If a tie occurs across an award boundary, all tied students will receive the higher award, ensuring fairness.

Additional Recognitions

Students may also receive:

• Global Round Invitation
  Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners qualify for the Global Round in Toronto, Canada

• Honour Roll
  Students scoring 80% and above are featured on the Honour Roll

• Perfect Score Recognition
  Students achieving 100% receive special recognition

Results

Note: If you find any error in your name or school name, please get in touch with us by 25 March 2026. Any corrections after that will attract a correction charge.
