Presented by Spirit of Math®, a global leader in math enrichment and teacher training for over three decades, this contest has been a platform for high-performing students to shine since its inception in 1999. Each year, Spirit of Math challenges young minds worldwide with innovative problem-solving questions, providing participants the chance to earn medals, gain recognition, and secure a place on the coveted Spirit of Math National Honour Roll.
With a legacy of excellence, Spirit of Math students achieved over 1,550 placements on national and international competition Honour Rolls in 2015 alone. This success underscores the program's ability to nurture the skills and confidence needed for future global leaders. Now, we are excited to extend this opportunity to students in Laos, empowering them to develop critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for mathematics by offering the Spirit of Math online training program and contest.
The International Spirit of Math Contest welcomes students from grades 1 to 8 to compete on a global stage. It’s not just about competing – it’s about having fun, developing resilience, and embracing the joy of learning mathematics in a vibrant and supportive environment.
